Miracle On Morton Street Celebrates its 19th Year!
Join us on Saturday, December 4th
in Historic Downtown Richmond!
The first Saturday of December marks the 19th Annual Miracle on Morton Street, historic downtown Richmond’s celebration of the holiday season. This year’s event, brought to you by the Historic Richmond Association (HRA), will have something for everyone as vendors, merchants and activities will be waiting for you in downtown Richmond on December 4th from 10 am – 4 pm!
This annual event brings traditional activities, such as a Kids’ Zone and ‘Letters to Santa’ at the downtown Post Office. As in prior years, the streets will be lined with vendors from across Texas, and downtown merchants will have their stores decorated and stocked for your holiday shopping. Food vendors, as well as food trucks, will round out the experience along with a variety of entertainment provided throughout the day!
Don’t forget to kick off your holiday season with the Christmas tree lighting and Community Christmas Walk on Friday December 3rd from 6-8 pm. The tree will be lit at City Hall at promptly 6pm, and the town will be alive with holiday spirit and activities until 8 pm. There will be a movie in Wessendorf Park (Elf), the farmer’s market, Candlelight tours at the Moore home (ticket required), a gingerbread house competition, and so much more! We will post the map for the event on the website and on our social media closer to the event date!
AND don’t forget the Gingerbread House Decorating Contest!
Entries will be delivered and judged on Friday night, and then all the houses will be on display on Morton Street the next day!
